MAIGOLD COTTAGE
Sleeps 4 - from £350 per week.
Maigold is a spacious, comfortable and attractive barn conversion offering self-catering accommodation in an unbeatable, beautiful Peak District setting.
The standard of conversion is very high and the cottage has many interesting features including exposed beams, the roof trusses have also been retained.
The dining-kitchen is large and farmhouse-style, with fully fitted units, hob, oven,microwave, fridge and dishwasher, there are slate floors, pine and oak beams and recessed light fittings to add a special touch of class to this lovely kitchen.
The lounge is also spacious and the decor is tasteful, with a beamed ceiling and a tradional log burning stove, this lounge is very cosy. There is a TV, video, and a supply of fuel for the stove.
The patio area has garden furniture and a BBQ for your use.
The double bedroom is very attractive, with exposed roof trusses and an external door to the patio area. The twin bedded room has a beamed ceiling. The capacity and layout of the bedrooms can be changed to suit the needs of the party. Linen is provided.
Finally, there is a porch, bathroom, and separate shower room with extra WC.
Ample secure parking is available. Pets and smoking are not permitted. As the cottage is on one level it may be suitable for people with disabilities. Launderette facilities are available if required.
The sheltered south facing patio has wonderful views and there are garden and courtyard areas next to the cottage. Access is available to the owner's woodland and fields by arrangement.
ALBERTINE COTTAGE
Sleeps 8 from £740 - 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor + 2 bathrooms.
Albertine cottage is a sympathetically restored, two storey, impressive barn conversion allowing great views to be had of the surrounding fields.
The cottage is recently decorated to a very high standard and there are pine beams throughout, including exposed trusses in upstairs bedrooms.
The kitchen, equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, is quite large and there are shared laundrette and freezer facilities.
The dining area, attached to the kitchen, looks out across the former farmyard with a view down the valley.
The spacious lounge offers great views, and TV, DVD and video player and wi-fe access.
There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms - one of which is on the ground floor. There are two bathrooms upstairs and a separate shower/toilet on ground floor level. The cottage has full central heating and double glazing

Location
Middle Farm, Brushfield, is 1 mile away from Taddington, one of the highest villages in the area.
Monsal Dale is very close and is definitely worth visiting. The views to be had from the Monsal Head Hotel and Pub are something to behold, and on a fair weather day, this is a great spot for an ice cream or a pint - especially refreshing after a walk!
The location of our cottages, which are adjacent to the farm, is ideal for those seeking an active or relaxing break. It is a very quiet location, surrounded by only fields and woodland, but closeby are the bustling towns of Bakewell and Buxton, and attractions such as Chatsworth Estate and Haddon Hall.
Brushfield is a super base for active sprites: nearby are facilities/locations for rock climbing, caving, horse riding, gliding, fishing and mountain biking.
