The Coach House Cottage
is a two bedroom, luxury stone barn, fully centrally heated, with a spacious 'open plan design' and all on the one ground floor level. Sleeping up to 4 adults and having the bonus of two luxury en-suite bathrooms. It has a sunny, sheltered position, nestling on the east side of the pretty courtyard at 5 star Uppermoor Farm & holiday cottages. The main entrance leads from the courtyard through a Georgian style stable door and into a flagstone hallway. This in turn opens up into a spacious open-plan Kitchen/Sitting Room area with huge French windows opening onto an elevated rear terrace with spectacular far reaching and un-interupted views across the beautiful Peak District.

  • In February 2012 and for the second year running was awarded with the coveted gold star accredtiation by the Visit Britain Tourism Board.
  • Totally renovated in 2010 to a standard of excellence.
  • Located on the outskirts of the pretty Domesday village of Parwich in the heart of the Peak District.
  • Ideal venue for a Romantic Escape or Hide-Away.

Kitchen/Breakfast/Sitting Room: Is a large very light living area combining traditional country comforts with modern 21st century luxuries. The whole area has a flagstone floor, tastefully complimented with rugs. Comfortable leather sofa and chairs for cosy seating around the raised hearth with a very efficient wood-burner stove.

The Master Bedroom: Is a large double room with an antique cast iron bed and luxury en-suite shower facilities. It has three westerly windows overlooking the pretty courtyard and granite water feature which is surrounded by a stunning show of red & yellow tulips and primroses in the Spring, followed by clusters of red and yellow fragrant roses, during the Summer months.

Bedroom 2: Is a twin-bedded room and furnished with two 3’ single divan beds and also has it’s own luxury en-suite shower facilities. This room can be doubled as a separate dressing room for anyone wanting to enjoy a romantic break for just two.
