MID WEEK FLEXIBILE ACCOMMODATION Although Peak District Holiday Barn is specifically designed to cater for large groups of up to 24 due to the logistical problems for large groups organising events/ activities during the mid week periods i.e. work and family commitments we can offer more flexibility regarding group sizes. If you are an organisation looking to arrange a function, walking holiday, residential courses, corporate team building, smaller family reunions and parties we have a package to suit all sizes ranging from 4 people through to the maximum 24. Due to the all year round appeal of the Peak District, we at the Barn do not believe in seasonal pricing or that families should be penalised when planning an event - birthdays;: anniversaries; re-union or a pre-wedding get together - during "so called" peak periods, school holidays, half terms or bank holidays.
We have simplified the process to offer one price all year round (*), with no additional charges for heating or linen (we do ask visitors to be thoughtful with lighting and heating and ask that you remember to bring towels)
(*) This does exclude Christmas and New Years Eve.
The cost of the most popular booking - a two night stay ( usually Friday and Saturday) arriving at 4pm Friday and leaving midday on Sunday - is £1680 (including VAT). This is equivalent to £35.00 per person per night.
Additional nights or midweek bookings are priced accordingly to group size and equivalent to £35 per person per night. 2011 prices - A 2 night weekend stay (usually Friday and Saturday night) is £1760 (including VAT). Please see mid week flexibility for more detailed information.
A bond of £300 is required with all bookings and is payable with the final invoice (due 6 weeks prior to the date of booking) and returnable 48 hours after departure.
Please note that the barn is designed and insured to cater for a maximum of 24 people. Any groups exceeding these numbers will result in the forfeiture of the bond.
Please do not bring any additional music equipment without our prior consent and we ask that you would be considerate regarding late night noise levels with respect to the neighbouring farm and local residents.

KITCHEN & DINING ROOM Dining area easily seats up to 24 guests with an array of seating possibilities including long church pew, breakfast stools, chairs and several tables and breakfast bar. Fully equipped kitchen with every convenience and modern appliance including 2 cookers, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and fridge freezer.
BEDROOMS There is a total of 6 bedrooms to sleep 24 guests as follows:
GROUND FLOOR - 1 bunkroom with 6 large bunk beds - 1 double bedroom with 4 large bunks - 2 double bedrooms (one king size) with 2 large bunks.
FIRST FLOOR - 1 large double bedroom with king size 4 poster - 1 double bedroom
BATHROOMS / SHOWER UNITS One situated on the first floor (adjacent to the first floor bedrooms) containing: walk-in shower, bath, hand basin and toilet.
On the ground floor - 2 large shower rooms each containing 3 separate showers with privacy areas, 2 sinks. 1 shower room has 2 enclosed toilets and the other shower room has 1 enclosed toilet.
Also on the ground floor there is a further toilet with hand basin.
UTILITY ROOM / DRYING AREA Contains washing machine and large sink with plenty of hanging space, can easily cater for all your wet clothing and footwear. Recycling facilities for guest's use (labelled bins allocated under stone sinks).
OUTSIDE Plenty of car parking spaces, loads of room for bikes, large barn to the rear - currently ideal for storage, for bikes etc. Lawned Garden and B.B.Q area, Pizza Oven and Fire Pit.
CENTRAL PEAK DISTRICT LOCATION Situated just off the A623 that runs between Baslow towards Chapel en le Frith - Peak District Holiday Barn is simple to find and within easy reach of Monsal Dale & Trail (5 minutes by car), Cressbrook Dale (across the road), Bakewell, Eyam, Chatsworth, Tideswell and many more well known places and attractions of the National Park.
There is a breakfast cafe across the road. Larger pubs/restaurants are close by too.
