Accommodation details
This property is ideally suited for a family beach holiday. Porthcawl has four main beaches, two of which have the European Blue Flag Awards for cleanliness. The nearest beach has plenty of sand to camp down on, and also plenty of rock pools for the children to explore.
Sporting wise, Porthcawl is one of the UK's premier surfing spots, boasting British and European champions. Also there are 2 championship standard golf courses, shore and boat fishing, kite surfing and much more.
Newton village green is 200 metres away with its lovely childrens park, 17th century church and 3 village pubs, offering tradtional cooked meals and real ale's.
Also close by is Merthyr Mawr Dunes, the largest sand dunes in Great Britain - a great place for walking, with magnificent views of Porthcawl, Ogmore Estuary and the Bristol Channel.
