Welcome to The Peacock in Henton, a delightful country inn surrounded by some of some England's most beautiful countryside, The Chilterns. Just moments from the national Ridgeway Trail which winds its way through the stunning Chiltern Hills. There are plenty of local attractions to choose from including Waddesdon Manor, the country home of the Rothschild family.   

Accommodation. There are 25 contemporary bedrooms, which have been recently refurbished to provide comfortable facilities for guests. All come with en-suite bathrooms, flat screen televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. There is an excellent pub restaurant and bar and a warm welcome awaits from the friendly staff. The Peacock is dog friendly making it a popular choice for walkers and the area is perfect for cycling breaks or anyone simply wishing to relax and escape in a truly peaceful, unspoiled location.  

The Peacock is situated on the border of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, 5 mins from Thame, Chinnor and Princes Risborough and within 20 minutes of High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Marlow and Henley. Central London is 30 minutes away by train from the local station at Princes Risborough or 45 minutes drive away via the M40. The City of Oxford, Blenheim Palace and the delightful villages of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds are also within 30 minutes driving time.

Business meeting and private functions. From team building days to board meetings, overnight conferences, or simply a need for a brainstorming session out of the office, the Peacock is a relaxed and inexpensive option for any kind of business meeting. The large, light meeting room has extensive views across open countryside and there is an adjoining eating area where you and your colleagues can enjoy complete privacy, inspiring views, good food and friendly, accommodating service, where nothing is too much trouble.  During the summer months, delegates can use the outdoor space parallel to the meeting room as a breakout area. .

Quiet and secluded, this is an excellent location for business meetings, seven minutes from junction 6 on the M40, meaning easy access for all delegates attending.

The Peacock’s meeting room can also be used for parties, celebrations, anniversaries, private dining and family gatherings. If you're planning a special occasion for a larger group, the entire inn can be hired for exclusive use and we welcome coaches and group bookings.
