Uppermoor Farm and Holiday Cottages - Sleeps 24 Guests - Five Star Gold.
Our Peak District Holiday Cottages at Uppermoor Farm are fully equipped to meet the needs of groups of up to 24 guests. The main Farmhouse itself has two large lounges whilst it's Annexe (Horseshoe Cottage) and the adjacent Coach House Cottage each have a cosy Sitting Room, that provide a range of comfortable seating for everyone. All three of our 'GOLD' star accredited Cottages nestle together in a pretty courtyard setting and have spacious, well equipped, kitchens. The Farmhouse having the added luxury of an ‘Aga’ range cooker too, together with an open-plan dining hall with two antique tables seating 20 adults easily. Many of our guests use our luxury self catering accommodation to celebrate a special occasion and our aim is to ensure that our luxury Peak District Cottages provide an excellent venue for this.
The 18thC stone Farmhouse and adjoining Cottages stand in a unique, elevated courtyard setting with landscaped gardens and surrounded by their own 70 acres of 'walkers paradise'. A secluded, peaceful retreat, yet easily accessible to all major Peak District attractions and in the heart of the stunning Peak District National Park.
Only joining the holiday rental market in the summer of 2010, due to being a brand new conversion offering discerning guests, spacious 5 star en-suite group accommodation. Providing a total of eleven bedrooms and ten luxury, en-suite or private bathrooms. 'Indulge yourselves' sleep in Four Poster Beds, relax & unwind on deep-seated sofas whilst soaking up the ambience of your very own Peak Retreat.
We have created a 'home away from home' ambiance at Uppermoor Farm and there is a choice of private rear terraces with a selection of comfortable garden furniture and three BBQ's to allow for 'Alfresco' dining for everyone.
In Feb 2011 awarded 'GOLD Star' status, enabling us to offer discerning guests the perfect base for exploring the beauty and many attractions in the spectacular Peak District National Park.
