About Webbington Farm Holiday Cottages
Julie and Mark Amesbury welcome you to their working beef farm nestled below Crooks Peak on the edge of the Somerset Mendip Hills, amidst Somerset’s famous cider making and Cheddar Strawberry growing area.
 
Experience at close hand life on the farm and see and learn about all the animals. You can also understand more about the number of schemes we are involved in for promoting good environmental practice and see the reed beds, replanted apple orchard and the woodland that includes over 10,000 trees that have been planted. The farm also leads onto a stretch of the River Axe which provides our own river frontage for private fishing.
 
Accommodation
Some old courtyard barns have been redesigned and converted into three fantastic oak beamed cottages, finished to an exceptional standard and all with contemporary and modern facilities throughout.
 
Golightly – named after a race horse who used to live in the stables, sleeps up to 6 adults and 1 baby and consists of 1 double bed, 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds.
Kitty – named after a farm workhorse, sleeps up to 4 adults and 1 baby and consists of 1 double bed and 2 single beds.
Tiarks – named after the family that used to reside at the Webbington Hotel, sleeps up to 7 adults and 1 baby and consists of 1 double bed, 2 or 3 single beds and a double sofa bed. It also has the benefit of being on one level.
Group bookings up to 17 are welcome!

Double bedroom also available in main farmhouse.

Heating – each cottage has full central heating throughout,
Free - Wifi
Kitchen – fully equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric oven/hob and microwave.
Lounge/Dining – leather suites, wide screen TV with FreeSat, Midi HiFi, DVD, sound system and WiFi.
Bathrooms – all bathrooms have a “P” bath/shower, toilet, shaver point, hand basin and heated towel rail.
Gardens – outside the cottages is a patio area with individual outdoor furniture with a large communal and enclosed garden, and children’s play area across the courtyard.
 
Self catering rates are inclusive of all power, bed linen and towels, a Somerset goodies welcome pack & use of nearby indoor lesiure facilities (indoor pool, sauna, steam room, tennis courts & gym)!
 
High Chairs, travel cot and childminding can be arranged on request.

Sorry but no pets allowed except for guide dogs.
Clay pigeon and pheasant shoots can be arranged for you.
Beautician treatments are available and can be undertaken at your cottage or at The Webbington Hotel & Spa.
A chef is also available to prepare a meal for you or a hot or cold buffet to be eaten at your leisure.
Other pursuits such as fishing, walking, golf and horse riding can be catered for and guests can use the facilities at The Webbington Hotel and Spa which include a swimming pool, spa, gym and tennis courts.
